Just finished work as B-Camera on the latest feature film directed by academy award winning director Caroline Link. The film tells tells the coming of age story by German comedian Hape Kerkeling. The young Hans-Peter has to find his way through various tragic events while developing his talent in making other people laugh.
A-Camera cinematography was done by the fatastic Judith Kaufmann.
New work for the Hamburg based band “Tower, Antenna” and their new LP “A thousand fears later” is about to be released. The music video was shot on Cooke Anamorphics and received amazing support by the rental company Cinegate as well as Harvest Digital Agriculture and Deli Pictures.
Work on the new social media campaign by the nordic football club “Werder Bremen” has been finished. Three clips follow the newly hired “Motivaionstrainer” on his endeavours to bring back the long lost optimism.

Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Moritz started to work as a Cinematographer and Gaffer during his studies at the Media University Stuttgart.
Alongside his studies, he gained experience as a 1st Assistant Director and Colorist, jobs that gave Moritz the opportunity to learn and widen my knowledge to become a better Cinematographer. In 2012 Moritz decided to move to Edinburgh to gain international working experience and pursue a career in the Scottish film industry. It didn’t take him long to get involved in various feature-, commercial- and short film production as a Cinematographer, lighting technician and 1st AC.
After moving back to Germany, he started working in Berlin as a cinematographer and decided to broaden his experience by attending the Cinematography Masters Course at the Hamburg Media School, which he finished in 2016.
Moritz is now working as a freelance cinematographer on commercials, fiction and documentary film projects.
